Und dann soll sie zu ihrem eigenen Vater, der nach langer Zeit nach Hause kommt, ›Onkel Hans‹ sagen, damit die Leute ihn nicht andauernd anzeigen - guy nannte ihn ›Nazi‹, als er abgeholt wurde. Lilibeths Kinderwelt besteht aber auch aus Wörtern, die sie nicht in ihre Sammlung aufnimmt, wie ›Sowjetische Besatzungszone‹, weil das für sie klingt, als würde jemand einen von ganz nahe ansehen, die Stirn runzeln und zischen.

Dietlind Köhncke beschreibt die Kriegs- und Nachkriegszeit aus dem Blickwinkel eines Mädchens, das Wörter sammelt.
